The FOTODOK Book Club is the podium for stories from photo books. In this live talkshow, photographer and photo book lover Rob Hornstra and creative editor-in-chief of De Correspondent Sterre Sprengers interview the story makers – photographers, designers and publishers. They share special stories on a variety of subjects from their latest photo books.
During this 26th edition on October 13, Rob & Sterre will talk with Bertien van Manen about 50 years of special encounters during her travels as seen in her newest book Archive, with Mafalda Rakos about men with eating disorders she portrayed in her book A Story to Tell and with photographer Raimond Wouda about the people of Tuindorp Oostzaan, a suburb of Amsterdam published in Polder VIII, Tuindorp Oostzaan, Amsterdam 1920-2020.
As livestream connections make it possible to be present wherever you are on this planet, you can enjoy this talkshow on photobooks too. For anyone who likes stories and wants to be taken into another world by the storytellers themselves, the FOTODOK Book Club offers this experience.
