FOTODOK is seeking image makers who:

Are available on the below dates
Can demonstrate an affinity for the subject of collective memory
3 & 4 October, 10am–10pm: Introduction days + evening programme on both nights
15 November, 5–7pm: With the Memories of Others exhibition opening
28 & 29 November, 10am–9.30pm/10am–5pm: Masterclasses + evening programme on 28 Nov.
16 & 17 January, 10am–9.30pm/10am–5pm: Masterclasses + evening programme on 16 Jan.
20 & 21 February, 10am–9.30pm/10am–5pm: Masterclasses + evening programme on 20 Feb. and project presentations before a jury on 21 Feb.
18 March: Announcement of awarded project/s, to receive €2,500 each
18 June: Beginning of production of book by all Lighthouse participants
11 September: Launch of book
11 September–1 November 2020: Exhibition of work by Lighthouse participants
What FOTODOK is offering:
An engaged group of internal and external experts will provide you with all necessary support during the period October 2019–September 2020. Alongside theoretical, visual and financial asistance, you will receive technical guidance and an inspirational programme to help you develop your project into a fully fledged plan. Lighthouse participants will receive free entry to the full events programme for With the Memories of Others to help them deepen their understanding of the exhibition’s subtopics; these will include 10 Taferelen nights (conducted mainly in Dutch) and two FOTODOK Book Clubs (conducted in English). You will also receive a starting budget of €500 to take part in Lighthouse.
