Can demonstrate an affinity for the subject of collective memory
3 & 4 October, 10am–10pm: Introduction days + evening program on both nights
15 November, 5–7pm: Joint Memory: Photographic Fragments exhibition opening
28 & 29 November, 10am–9.30pm/10am–5pm: Masterclasses + evening program on 28 Nov.
16 & 17 January, 10am–9.30pm/10am–5pm: Masterclasses + evening program on 16 Jan.
20 & 21 February, 10am–9.30pm/10am–5pm: Masterclasses + evening program on 20 Feb. and project presentations before a jury on 21 Feb.
18 March: Announcement of awarded project, to receive €2,500
What FOTODOK is offering:
An engaged group of internal and external experts will provide you with all necessary support during the period October 2019–September 2020. Alongside theoretical, visual and financial assistance, you will receive technical guidance and an inspirational program to help you develop your project into a fully fledged plan. Lighthouse participants will receive free entry to the full events program for Joint Memory: Photographic Fragments to help them deepen their understanding of the exhibition’s subtopics; these will include 10 Taferelen nights (conducted mainly in Dutch) and two FOTODOK Book Clubs (conducted in English). You will also receive a budget to cover expenses to take part in Lighthouse.
