Dunya Zita: “Mejmou3en (together) is an intuitive and personal project that emerged during my stay in Morocco in 2024. Over the course of two months, I spent much of my time with my family while also taking the opportunity to connect with people beyond them in Casablanca, my father’s birthplace. The community around me gradually expanded. In the absence of a shared language with my family, new encounters became a way for me to better understand my family and heritage.”

ROUTE & ACCESSIBILITY

FOTODOK rents its exhibition and workspace in an old school building in the centre of Utrecht. Unfortunately, the building is poorly accessible for people with mobility problems. A staircase of five steps takes you to the front door. The exhibition space on the first floor of the building also has stairs, unfortunately without a (stair) lift.

From Utrecht Central Station it takes 20 minutes to walk to FOTODDOK, by bike it takes 5 minutes from the station. The nearest car park is Springweg: Strosteeg 83, 3510 VK Utrecht.
