FOTODOK sees it as its responsibility not only to create visibility for the work of emerging visual artists but also to support them in other ways. We do this by opening up our network and offering them a platform and a safe space from which they can further develop. FOTODOK places a strong emphasis on promoting collectivity, collaboration, and connection between photographers in its talent programmes.
Lighthouse selects and supports emerging photographers and artists who engage critically with both the world and the medium of photography. The focus is on encouraging the collective development of knowledge, sharing resources, and collaborating across disciplinary boundaries. With Lighthouse Specials, artists who were not selected have the chance to follow a condensed version of the Lighthouse programme.
Journeys (former Talent Embassy) focuses on guiding photographers as they prepare for their participation in photography festivals, supporting them in navigating an international field.

FUTURES supports emerging mid-career talents from across Europe. FOTODOK represents the Netherlands as one of 18 international members of FUTURES and nominates five photographers annually to take part.
