FOTODOK TALENT DEVELOPMENT

FOTODOK sees it as its responsibility not only to create visibility for the work of emerging image makers, but also to support them in other ways. We do this by opening up our network and by being a platform and a place where they can continue to develop.

With Blurring the Lines, FOTODOK, Paris College of Art and Urbanautica Institute offer a stage to graduation talents from more than 40 art academies from all over the world. The highlights of this program will be brought together in a publication and an exhibition during Paris Photo. With this program we also support interacademicdialogue focussing on education and photography.

Lighthouse is a program that FOTODOK started in 2019. Every year we financially support and guide 10 motivated emerging photographers. They have the opportunity to develop a new project proposal with the help of masterclasses and inspiration sessions. With Lighthouse we focus on the artistic development and entrepreneurship of the talents.

With FOTODOK’s talent program Take-Off, we connect recently graduated photography talent to experts in the field. In just a few minutes, the photographers pitch their work to curators, program makers, editors, gallery owners and others who are interested in their work. Take-Off started with a national edition in spring of 2020.In 2021 there will also be an international edition with photographers and experts from all over the world.
