This special edition of BOOKTALKS is taking place in Paris. It forms part of the programme organised by FOTODOK around the exhibition A Wider Gaze at Atelier Néerlandais.

Four photobooks, four photographers and 15 min. of special stories per book: FOTODOK BOOKTALKS is the stage for stories from photobooks. In this live talk show documentary photographer Giya Makondo-Wills interviews the storytellers – photographers, designers and publishers. They will make you part of extraordinary stories on a variety of subjects.

The BOOKTALKS Paris Edition takes place at the FUTURES location: 13 rue de Sévigné, 75004 Paris from 16:00-17:30.

PROGRAMME IN PARIS

A Wider Gaze brings together ten artists and photographers from diverse backgrounds. They approach Europe from its many margins and entangled histories. Between 12-15 November – during Paris Photo – FOTODOK turns the exhibition into a programme that reflects its four pillars: exhibitions, dialogue and research, talent development, and education. These moments connect photographers with an international audience and show FOTODOK’s approach of pairing local voices with global perspectives.
